Which information do we collect
The only data collection we perform, is the data you provide when you create your account: Name, gender, username, email, photo.
Beyond your personal details, we also save the information relative to the wishlists you create. That information can be classified as public or private. The public one if available on the internet for the persons with who you share the wishlist URL. At any moment you can change that URL or mark a wishlist as private. You can also delete it.
We also count the number of views each wishlist have. But that number is only for statistic purposes, we only increment the counter, we don’t register any info about who have seen the wishlist (nor name, nor IP address). This stat is only displayed to the author of each wishlist, on the backoffice.

How do we use you information
Your information is completely confidential and processed automatically, by the terms approved by the Commission of the National Data Protection. No other external entity have access or can view this data, except when required by law. No information is target of analysis by our side, nor have any kind of manual processing,
All the information that you put on the platform will be used for you to share with the persons you know, using an unique URL. There is not any other place of the website where anyone can list any detail from other users, nor their wishlists. Only the wishlists marked as public will be available for view, with whom you share it’s unique URL.

Your information is kept in our databases indefinitely. You can, however, delete your account at any time through your reserved area. When you delete your account, all your personal data, all your wishlists, as well as the files you uploaded to your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

All sensitive information remains encrypted in our system, and it is not even possible to read it directly from the database. Our servers are also equipped with the latest security technologies, ensuring that no one without authorized access can access it.
The connection to the website is made securely (through https), guaranteed by an SSL certificate installed on our servers. This certificate is a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a website and enables an encrypted connection, in order to maintain the privacy and security of user information.
As a user, we ask that you commit to making proper use of the content and information that MyWishlist offers, with an enunciative, but not limiting character:
- Not engage in activities that are illegal or contrary to good faith and public order;
- Not to disseminate propaganda or content of a racist, xenophobic nature, any type of illegal pornography, in support of terrorism or against human rights;
